We support the Subscribe to Open model, whereby if enough subscription support is received the content in each title is made available by OA. Annual Reviews publications provide primary research literature in 51 disciplines for the biomedical, life, physical and social sciences.

De Gruyter Purchase to Open: Business & Economics Collection

De Gruyter launched a collaborative funding initiative with Jisc and other consortia partners to publish up to 30 front list titles in immediate Gold Open Access. Committed to the Business & Economics content. 

Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ)

DOAJ is primarily a list of peer-reviewed open access journals covering all disciplines and 80 languages. The numbers of titles indexed have increased to 15,500+.

JSTOR - Path to Open

We support the Path to Open model, whereby in exchange for an annual fee the content in each title is made available by OA after after a 3 year period of subscribed access. Annual Reviews publications provide ebooks in a variety of disciplines. The collection is expected to grow by approximately 200 titles year on year. The collection features peer-reviewed monographs in disciplines across the humanities and social sciences, with an emphasis on works that bring forward diverse perspectives and ideas.

Knowledge Unlatched

A collaborative initiative to enable OA monograph publishing in the humanities and social sciences. The publishers include: Amsterdam, Cambridge, Duke, Edinburgh, Liverpool, Manchester, Michigan, Purdue, Rutgers, Temple, plus Bloomsbury Academic, Brill and De Gruyter.

Supporting Service Providers: African Minds, DOAB and OAPEN, Mattering Press, Thoth, White Horse Press, mediastudies.press, meson press and punctum books.

A non-profit publisher of OA monographs, run by academics in Cambridge and London and committed to making high-quality research freely available to readers around the world.

Opening the Future

Central European University Press (CEU Press) aim to convert to a fully OA monograph frontlist. Access to some of the most popular backlist titles and funding CEU Press' future to be OA.
