No there isn't, but an eBook may only be loaned to you for a limited time. For example, eBooks downloaded from VLeBooks will expire after one day, and those downloaded from ProQuest Ebook Central may be checked out to you for 7 days. Others offer unlimited access. Look for the availability information for a particular title on eBook platform when you click through from Discover. You can usually choose to read online rather than download without restrictions.
Some eBooks have a limit on the number of simultaneous users, so if you find you cannot get access at a particular time you may need to revisit it later. Some VLeBooks offers a queuing service – you add yourself to the queue and receive an email notification when the title is available to read. If you are inactive (no page turns) for more than 15 minutes, the eBook will become available to another user.
