Metal bind kits can be picked up from the Library Hub at no cost. The kit consists of:
- Metal spine
- Transparent front cover
- Coloured backing card
Getting ready to bind
- Slide the lever on the front to the left
- Pull the side lever up
Inserting spine correct way up
3. Place the metal spine into the machine ensuring it is the correct way up. The opening should face upward to allow your work to be inserted (small lip should be on the far side).
4. Slide the lever on the front to the right. This will secure the spine firmly in place.
Secure binder onto your document
5. Insert all your work into the machines. The back cover should be facing you.
6. Keep tight hold of the front lever while doing step 7 (otherwise it may open by siding left).
7. Push the lever away from you.
Repeat Steps 1 and 2 before removing your document.
