LJMU recommends using OneDrive for storing files. OneDrive is 1TB of cloud based storage, providing easy access to files from any device connected to wi-fi. Your OneDrive can be accessed from any web browser via the following link www.office.com. Sign in with your username@ljmu.ac.uk and current LJMU password
M: Drives can be accessed off-campus via the LJMU Virtual Desktop.
It is encouraged to move files from your M: Drive to your LJMU OneDrive, please see the following instructions on how to do this:
- Access the LJMU Virtual Desktop
- Once loaded go to Start > File Explorer > This PC - This will show your M: Drive.
- Open the M: Drive, copy and paste the files you want to your OneDrive. Alternatively drag them to the OneDrive listed in the File Explorer
- Your files will then copy to your LJMU OneDrive
Further guidance on the LJMU OneDrive is available here.
