Canvas is the Virtual Learning Environment at LJMU where you can find the modules you are enrolled on, your lecture content, assignments along with any other materials relevant to your learning. Your modules on Canvas are set up when you enrol and the content within them is maintained by your tutors and lecturers. There are also modules you can self enrol on to help with getting up to speed with IT or help with using the library.
There are several ways to access Canvas:
-
Visit canvas.ljmu.ac.uk
-
By clicking on the Canvas icon on LJMU PCs.
-
By clicking on the tile on the Current Students page www.ljmu.ac.uk/students
-
Downloading the Canvas Student App from the Play Store or App Store.
Help on Canvas is available by selecting the Help option from the left hand menu within Canvas.
Further support for Canvas is available from the Learning Technology webpage select 'Staff Guides' or 'Student Help' from the top menu.
