To restore a previous version of an existing file or folder:
-
Right click on the file or folder you wish to restore.
-
Select Restore previous versions from the menu. This displays a second screen which lists the dates and times of available backups from which you can restore the file or folder.
-
Select the file/folder you wish to restore from the list and click on it.
-
Select Open. This will open the backup of the file or folder so you can see what it contained at the time of the backup. For a file you can then choose to File>Save As to save the backup to your M drive (you should give the file a different name to distinguish it as a back up).The file path will detail the date and time the backup of the file/folder was taken.
-
For a folder a browser window will open showing you the folder contents at the time that the backup was taken. You can drag and drop files directly out of the backup folder (or copy and paste), just ensure you do not overwrite the wrong file by mistake.
