The web based printing service allows LJMU users to print most common documents to selected printers located within LJMU via an easy to use web interface. Simply use your web browser (off campus or on a personal device) to upload and print a document to any of the networked printers across the university.
Access MyPrint.ljmu.ac.uk
Login using your LJMU username@ljmu.ac.uk and password
Click on Web Print from the menu on the left
Select Submit a Job then click on Upload Documents
Upload or drag and drop the file you wish to print, click on Upload & Complete
Your job will now start processing and can be released from any network printer within LJMU, providing you have sufficient funds in your Virtual Purse (ViP).
Please Note: any documents sent to print in this way are double sided and in colour. This can be changed to black and white on the printer, but will remain double sided.
The following file types are allowed: Microsoft Excel xlam, xls, xlsb, xlsm, xlsx, xltm, xltx Microsoft PowerPoint pot, potm, potx, ppam, pps, ppsm, ppsx, ppt, pptm, pptx Microsoft Word doc, docm, docx, dot, dotm, dotx, rtf, txt PDF pdf Picture Files bmp, dib, gif, jfif, jif, jpe, jpeg, jpg, png, tif, tiff
Please Note: It is not possible to print MS Publisher, MS Project or Photoshop files directly using this service but users can save the document as a PDF and then print.
