You will only be able to place an inter-library loan request if we do not have access to a physical or electronic copy of the material within LJMU libraries.
Go to Inter-Library Loan and select Article, Book or Journal
Fill in the form with as much detail as possible
When you click Submit you will be prompted to sign in for more options
Once signed in you can place the inter-library loan request
Depending on what material you request, we need the following information:
- Journal article - ISSN, journal title, the relevant year, the volume and/or part number, page numbers, article author and article title.
- Book - ISBN, surname and initials of the author(s) and/or editor(s), full title, publisher, date of publication
- Book chapter - as Book but we also need the chapter title, author and page numbers
- Thesis - author, title of thesis, type and date of degree and the awarding University details
- Conference paper - conference title, date and venue of the conference, sponsor, author of paper and title
